Harrison County Home & Public Health - Logan, Iowa is currently seeking an Administrator.
This individual will be responsible for the total operation of the agency’s programs according to approved
policies, procedures and standards. Maintains the image of the agency in the communities that Harrison
County Home & Public Health serves and in state and national organizations. Will keep the agency
abreast of local, state, and national trends. Ensures agency compliance with all federal, state and
local laws and regulations. Collaboration with community partners is a priority. The administrator
is responsible to the agency’s governing body (Harrison County Board of Health). This is a full-time
position with occasional long hours. Minimal travel related to marketing, public relations and infrequent
client/family home visits. Other travel to statewide meetings/conferences.
Qualifications: Holds an undergraduate degree; and is a registered nurse licensed in Iowa; or has
education and experience in health service administration, with at least one year of supervisory or administrative
experience in home health or related health care program. Experience in fiscal management is strongly
preferred. Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individual ages of those served.
Harrison County Home & Public Health – Logan, Iowa is currently seeking a Home Health Nursing Supervisor
to supervise/manage day-to-day client care operations within the organization. This is a full-time position with on
call required for weekends, nights and holidays.
Qualifications: Must have a current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Iowa, possess a minimum of five (5)
years experience in nursing, with a combination of acute care and home health care/public health preferable. Individual must
demonstrate integrity, good judgment and initiative.
