Jail Visitor - Rules and Regulations

NOTE: ALL
VISITORS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH.
Harrison County Jail retains the right to deny a visit when
there is reason to believe that the visitor will endanger jail security or
control of jail. |

Visiting Hours:
|
Male inmates
Tuesdays or Thursdays
1pm to 4pm |
Female inmates:
Wednesdays
1pm to 4pm |
|
A male inmate is allowed a visit of one
(1), thirty (30) minute session by you
on a Tuesday only --OR-- Thursday only (per individual inmate per week).

- Only reading material and
money may be brought to prisoners. Everything brought for prisoners is
subject to inspection. Visitors are not allowed to give anything
directly to prisoners.

- A parent or legal guardian must accompany visitors under 18 years
of age. The parent must bring each child's birth certificate.
The birth certificate must be presented each time the visit occurs.
The legal guardian must present the paper work each time the visit
occurs.

- Attorneys and ministers will be allowed
unlimited access provided the visit is at a reasonable hour.
|
- Once visitors leave the jail after
visitation, they will not be allowed to return to visit.
|
- All visitors will sign the prisoner
visitation sheet and complete all information on the sheet
|
|
Dress Code
All dress must be conservative in nature.
NO
see through clothing (lace, sheer, etc.), NO
low cut shirts.
The Harrison County Jail utilizes a video
visitation system for regular visits.
